GameSir G-Crux makes it possible to upgrade your GameSir G5/X1/Z1/Z2/VX to enjoy more stable gaming experience with more models of mouse and keyboard supported.

Update for Android

a. Power on G5, turn on Bluetooth in mobile phone.

b. Start the app, search and connect G5, interface below can be seen.

c. Click "update firmware" and it will start updating the 1st part of G5 firmware.

d. After finishing the update, G5 "Home" button will flash slowly, and the interface will prompt you to connect under quick flashing mode. Press "Home" button and switch to quick flashing.

e. At this time, please wait patiently for 10 seconds. The controller will automatically connect and start updating the 2nd part of G5 firmware. (Devices such as Huawei and Samsung don't need to switch to quick flashing because they will automatically reconnect.)

f. When "USB firmware" update is finished, it will show "USB successfully updated". At this time, reboot your controller and the update is completed.

Note:

1. During the upgrade process, please do not turn off the controller or your device. If the controller or the device turns off accidentally, please reboot the controller and start the upgrade all over again.
2. During the upgrade process, please wait for the app to finish and do not open any apps as it will disturb the process.

1. Power on X1/Z1, turn on Bluetooth in mobile phone.

Start the app, search and connect X1/Z1, interface below can be seen.

2. Click "Upgrade to beta version", a pop-up window will be shown. Click "Confirm" to upgrade to beta version.

Click "Other versions", choose "Firmware 2715".

3. Click the version number to upgrade.

4. Restart X1/Z1. When connected with Bluetooth, MUC will be upgraded automatically, which lasts around 10 seconds. When upgrade is done, the firmware of new version is available.

Update for iOS

1. Download

Please go to App Store, search "G-Crux" and download.

2. Upgrade tutorial

a. Open "Setting" > "Bluetooth", power on G5 and search for pairing.

b. Start the app, search and connect G5, interface below can be seen.

c. Click "update firmware" and it will start updating the 1st part of G5 firmware.

While updated to 50%, it will start to update the 2nd part of G5 firmware. At this time, the Home button will flash slowly. Please press Home button for it to switch to quick flashing mode. Then, the controller will automatically reconnect and start the next part of the upgrade.

When "USB firmware" update is finished, it will show "USB successfully updated". At this time, reboot your controller and the update is completed.

Note: During the upgrade, please do not turn off the controller or your device. If the controller or the device turns off accidentally, please reboot the controller and start the upgrade all over again.

For the firmware types of X1/Z1, the upgrade principle and methods are basically the same, so only the upgrade of Z1 is explained here.

1. Open "Setting" > "Bluetooth", power on Z1/X1 and search for pairing.

2. Start the app, search and connect Z1/X1, interface below can be seen.

3. Click "update firmware" and it will start updating the 1st part of Z1/X1 firmware.

4. When the 1st part of the update is finished (to 100%), you will be prompted to reboot in order to update the 2nd part of the update. At this time, please reboot Z1/X1 and it will automatically reconnect to your device and update the 2nd When the update is completed, the device will disconnect automatically. Please reboot and make sure it's successfully updated.

GameSir X1 / Z1 / Z2 FPS DOCK Firmware Tutorial

Read Before Use
1. The FPS DOCK firmware does not apply to Android phones/tablets with MTK chips.
2. The FPS DOCK firmware can only be used for GameSir X1 / Z1 / Z2.
3. Please fully charge GameSir X1 / Z1 / Z2 and your phones/tablets before the update.
4. The FPS DOCK firmware update includes two parts: Bluetooth firmware update and MCU firmware update.
5. You can use the FPS DOCK firmware to play FPS games downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. So you no longer need Happy Chick Emulator or GameSir World APP.

Step 1 Download the FPS DOCK APP.
If your device is Android phones/tablets with non-MTK chips, click the button below to download the FPS DOCK APP and enable the permission of pop-ups.

Step 2 Update GameSir X1 / Z1 / Z2 firmware to the FPS DOCK firmware version.
